The Arizona Health Care Association is pleased to present Understanding the CMS Requirements of Participation
(ROP) and New Survey Process Strive for 5 Forum. Speakers from the American Health Care Association and
Arizona Department of Health Services will discuss the latest in survey trends and regulatory updates. Topics for the
day include Phase II of the ROPs, the Facility Assessment, the new survey process, reporting requirements, and
more. This interactive forum will require attendees to bring reference materials to include in the discussion portion of
the training (see the back of this flier for details).

Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring with them the following which
will be used in interactive exercises:
1. Infection Control Plan
2. QAPI plan
3. A list of all the in-services you require staff to take
4. A list of skills and competencies you require
5. Facility Assessment
