Course Description:

This session explores the remaining Quality Measures, including vaccination rates, urinary tract infections, indwelling catheter use, physical restraints, unintended weight loss, and incontinence. This presentation reviews measure intent, resident populations affected, and how assessment accuracy, clinical practice, and documentation directly influence quality outcomes, Five-Star ratings, and survey risk. Participants will explore common compliance challenges and documentation pitfalls associated with each measure, as well as practical strategies to support prevention, appropriate interventions, and interdisciplinary care planning.
