Nigel Santiago is the CEO of Boswell Transitional Care of Cascadia. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.
Nigel has worked in long-term care for nineteen years as a Marketing Director, Assistant Administrator, Administrator, Sr. Vice President, and Partner. As an Administrator, he led teams to advance two facilities from 1 Star Medicare facilities to 5 Star Medicare facilities.
Prior to joining Cascadia Healthcare, Nigel was Sr. VP of Operations for Haven Health, overseeing 8 skilled nursing facilities and 2 Assisted Living facilities in Haven’s north region. Also, during this time, he graduated from AHCA’s Future Leader Program, Class of 2018, and served on the Arizona Health Care Association’s Public Policy Committee, advocating for the industry he loves. Nigel currently serves on both the AZHCA and AHCA Boards.
Nigel has been on the Arizona Administrator-in-Training Program Advisory Committee for over 14 years and has advocacy experience at local and national legislative levels.
When Nigel is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family & friends, working out and playing golf, tennis and pickleball.
