Kristen Ott

Region 3 Director

Kristen Ott was born and raised in Kingman, Arizona. After graduating high school, she moved to the Phoenix area and later graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. In 2006, Kristen moved back to the Kingman to be near her family and joined the family business of operating SNFs in Mohave County, which had originally been established by her late grandfather in 1998. In 2011, Kristen completed her Administrator in Training (AIT) program. In 2012, she became an Assistant Administrator at The Lingenfelter Center for Alzheimer’s Care and in 2013 she became the Administrator. In 2015, Kristen was promoted to Chief Operations Officer of Creative Care, Inc. and in 2018 promoted to Chief Executive Officer overseeing their three SNFs in Mohave County.

Kristen Ott is passionate about her rural community and has been involved with various Boards in Mohave County. Over the years, Kristen has been a Board Member for the Northwest Arizona Healthcare Foundation, which distributes scholarships for allied health students attending Mohave Community College in Mohave County. Kristen has also served as a Board Member of the Mohave/La Paz Workforce Development Board where she assisted Mohave and La Paz County develop their local work force and personally represented the health care industry within the County. She has been honored to serve on the AzHCA Board of Directors representing Region 3 since 2022. During her time on the AzHCA Board, Kristen has served on subcommittees which have included the Arizona Health Care Political Action Committee in 2019 in which she was dedicated in supporting candidates for the Arizona Senate and House of Representatives who have shown commitment to long term care and the Arizona Health Care Workforce Development Committee since 2023 in which she assists to develop, support and implements strategic solutions for address allied health workforce shortages.

Kristen is an active Preceptor in Nursing Home Administration and recently trained her fifth AIT. Kristen is vested in providing quality care to the elderly population and is a boots-on-the-ground individual. Working in rural SNFs for the past twenty years allows Kristen to bring a clear understanding of the benefits and struggles SNFs face in rural areas.
