Kris Woolley is the Founder and CEO of Avista Senior Living (“Avista”). Avista is an owner and operator of Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care communities. Based in Mesa, Arizona, Avista began in 2011 and today operates a portfolio of 37 communities in Arizona, Idaho, New Mexico, Utah, and Washington. Guided by the foundational value of kindness, Kris and the talented team at Avista seek to be the employer of choice and the best senior living operator in each of their respective markets. Earlier in his career, Kris worked for Greystar Real Estate Partners, a national owner/operator of apartments, and Goldman Sachs in New York City and San Francisco. Kris attended UCLA and Brigham Young University (“BYU”) and graduated from BYU with honors. He also served a two-year mission for his church in Argentina and has an MBA from Harvard Business School. Kris and his wife, Heather, have been married for 24 years and are grateful to be raising five awesome children.
