Representative at Large
Sam is a proud graduate of Arizona State University transplanting from Loveland, Colorado and swimming on scholarship with the Sun Devils. With a BS in Education / Administration, Sam worked as a successful teacher/ coach / administrator in Estes Park, Colorado for 22 years. Sam obtained his MS Degree in Organizational Leadership from Regis University.
In 2008 the opportunity to switch careers, move back to Arizona, and enter the world of healthcare started as the Southwest Regional Rep with Schryver Medical Lab and Diagnostics. It was also at this time that Sam served for three years on the Foundation Board as a Representative at Large. During his tenure, Sam served on the fundraising committee for scholarships and education. “It was a rewarding position to work intimately with the LTC facilities of Arizona and meet the staffing/ resident needs with the scholarships the foundation continues to offer”.
In the years leading up to his present position as an Account Executive with LHC Group / Casa De La Luz Hospice, Sam also worked as an SNF Operations Manager in Denver, Colorado for Ensign Services. “It’s great to be back home in Arizona again working with so many of my former champions in healthcare. Grateful to have this opportunity to serve”.
