Course Description:

Not all facilities have an HR department to oversee nursing personnel management.  This session will guide nursing leaders through the essential components of human resources for the nursing department.  Tips and strategies for implementation of disciplinary processes, termination, conflict management and staff retention will be shared.  Personnel management techniques will be discussed to prepare the nurse leader for these tasks with or without an official HR department.
