Description: The Disaster Ready / EPIC program will be hosting a Tabletop Exercise (TTX) for skilled nursing facilities to exercise a facility-wide response to a simulated Infectious Disease Outbreak.  Participates will learn about the importance of early recognition of a potential outbreak and the development of a proper response.  The exercise will follow a situation manual that will present elements of a plausible scenario and give attendees, also known as “players” the opportunity to learn how to manage this type of emergency through established preparedness, response and recovery protocols.
