Join us for the 2018 Disaster Ready Summit to help motivate and inspire your team to be ready to manage emergencies and disasters! There will be a specific focus on the new CMS Emergency Preparedness Requirements of Participation (ROP) for skilled nursing facilities.  This diverse training opportunity will allow attendees to hear from experts. The training will include an interactive discussion with a panel of first-responders in a SERF format.  This segment of the workshop will address a community-based, all hazards approach to emergency management through a facilitated group discussion focused on emergency and disaster scenarios.

Attending this event will help providers comply with elements of CMS RoP E-0009 requiring facilities to have a process to cooperate and collaborate with local, tribal, regional, State and Federal official’s efforts to maintain an integrated response to a disaster or emergency situation.

Target audience: administrators, maintenance directors, clinical leaders, and other members of the emergency management team.
