Imagine the “Unthinkable” … an armed intruder enters your community and begins randomly shooting. Would your team know how to respond? Would your staff know how to protect themselves and your residents? This workshop will introduce different types of active shooter events and the similarities and differences between them. The presentation will also focus on case study and real life application. In addition, attendees will be introduced to a four step survival concept designed to minimize casualties, as well as a decision making process developed to help your team make the toughest decisions.

No one wants to think about this happening in their facility, but with the prevalence of these events, you cannot afford to be unprepared. Join the Arizona Health Care Association for this important Southern Arizona workshop.

Target Audience: leaders in assisted living and skilled nursing communities, physical plant managers,
safety committee members, and staff at every level.
