Rate Changes for October 1, 2019, & January 1, 2020

SNF

Effective 10/1/2019, SNF ALTCS EPD providers will see a current rate increase of 2.6% due to the legislature appropriating funding, plus an additional 1.8% increase for Prop 206. Effective 10/1/2019, this will increase rates by 4.4%. Then on 1/1/2020, we will see an additional Prop 206 increase of 1.3%. In total, this amounts to an overall compounded increase of 5.8%.

SNF Flagstaff

Effective 10/1/2019, the Flagstaff SNF ALTCS EPD providers will see a current rate increase of 2.6% due to the legislature appropriating funding, plus an additional 1.8% increase for Prop 206. Effective 10/1/2019, this will increase rates by 4.4%. Then on 1/1/2020, we will see an additional Prop 206 increase of 1.2%. In total, this amounts to an overall compounded increase of 5.7%

Assisted Living

Effective 10/1/2019, Assisted Living providers will see a current rate increase of 4.9% due to the legislature appropriating funding, plus an additional 3.6% increase for Prop 206. Effective 10/1/2019, this will increase rates by 8.5%. Then on 1/1/2020, we will see an additional Prop 206 increase of 2.6%. In total, this amounts to an overall compounded increase of 11.5%.

Assisted Living Flagstaff

Effective 10/1/2019, the Flagstaff Assisted Living providers will see a current rate increase of 4.9% due to the legislature appropriating funding, plus an additional 3.6% increase for Prop 206. Effective 10/1/2019 this will increase rates by 8.5%. Then on 1/1/2020, we will see an additional Prop 206 increase of 2.4%. In total, this amounts to an overall compounded increase of 11.3%.

2019 DAP Increase

Nursing Facilities DAP increases (1% for Pressure Ulcer and 1% for UTI) will be applied on top of these increases (if your facility was eligible to receive the DAP – click here to see the list).
